I recently finished a quirky piece of music, made from the farmyard sounds of gates banging and cattle noises (cattle in pens) called ironically Contented Cattle. The piece of music doesn’t at all communicate the conditions the animals live in - I had originally meant it to be a cattle protest song, but it didn’t turn out that way at all.
The old adage; ’You are what you eat’ is undoubtedly true, not only on the physical but also on the emotional and spiritual level.
Wouldn’t you agree, that if you eat the meat of a creature that has lived a life of misery and died in fear, then you are taking that misery and fear into your own body too? Not to mention the antibiotics and GM ingredients!
